Eligibility criteria: Children under the age of 18 whose parent served in the military after September 11, 2001. One application per child. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply. Completed applications must be submitted no later than August 15, 2020. Scholarship payments will be sent to the vendor directly.

Applicants will be selected for a scholarship award based on their eligibility and responses to the two essay questions. Scholarship award recommendations and final selection will be at the discretion of the Hope For the Warriors Scholarship Committee. Applicant anonymity will be preserved during the selection process. Additional information may be requested during the application and award process.

Required Documents

1) Proof of post 9/11 military service.  Please upload the DD214 showing service member/veteran’s name, branch, rank, time in service and/or combat service.

2) Proof of child dependency status. Please upload child's birth certificate or adoption paperwork.

3) Proof of enrollment.  Please upload letter of enrollment or program flyer showing the cost of activity of interest, application, scheduled fees of admission, flyer, registration/payment schedule, or dues.
